During the process of discussing the contract with Ablume, Massive VNC had sufficient conversations with the members and was honestly informed of all the facts regarding the legal issues raised. After that, after closely reviewing the supporting materials and response strategies, we made a careful decision to enter into the contract.

First of all, we have confirmed that many of the suspicions raised by some, such as ‘tampering’, are different from what is known externally, and that some of the related content has been interpreted differently from the facts.

Also, during the preparation process for the activity, I met and spoke directly with CEO Ahn Sung-il at the request of the members, and confirmed the facts about this. Before preparing for Ablume’s full-scale activities, the members had sufficient discussions and gave top priority to musical direction and perfection, and in the process, they decided that collaborating with CEO Ahn Sung-il was the optimal choice.

We highly value CEO Ahn Sung-il’s achievements and capabilities in the global music market, and we decided to collaborate after careful discussion out of respect for the artist’s opinion.

We are aware that many people are concerned about the controversies and suspicions currently being raised in some quarters. However, this is a problem that Massive VNC. and Albume will have to solve together, and we earnestly request that groundless speculation and slander not spread. We will provide an official statement as soon as the facts, including the results of the lawsuit, are revealed.

In addition, we inform you that we will take strong legal action if you spread false information that is different from the facts or continue to engage in unfair acts through SNS and various video media. Massive will continue to do its best to protect artists and create a fair environment.

We ask for your cooperation so that Ablume, who is about to make a new start, and the staff and officials working with them do not suffer any further damage, and Massive VNC will continue to do its best so that the artists can focus entirely on music.

Thank you.”

Meanwhile, previously on February 26, media outlet Star Today reported that Ahn Seong-il has entered into a one-year production contract with Massive VNC, the agency of Ablume, a new group formed by Aran, Sena, and Shio. Ahn Seong-il is expected to oversee the production of Ablume’s debut album.

Ablume is a trio consisting of former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Sena, and Shio. Last August, the three members marked their fresh start by signing with Massive VNC.

FIFTY FIFTY debuted on November 18, 2022, with Keena, Aran, Sena, and Shio. However, due to disputes over exclusive contracts, Aran, Sena, and Shio parted ways with FIFTY FIFTY and signed with Massive VNC. In December, the agency revealed that Ablume had begun filming their new music video and photoshoot in the U.S. and plans to release their album in the first half of this year.

On the other hand, Keena, who stayed with FIFTY FIFTY, made a comeback with new members Moon Chanelle, Yewon, Athena, and Hana on September 20 last year. Their new single, “LOVE TUNE,” reached No. 7 on Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales” chart and No. 21 on “LyricFind Global.” In January this year, FIFTY FIFTY won the “Female Idol (Rising Star)” award at the “Korea First Brand Awards.”

Now, all eyes are on whether Aran, Sena, and Shio can achieve success with their comeback under Ablume.
